On our schedule for the day before it even got started was Chruch, flag football pictures and game, and Ryan's first Cub Scout meeting.
This is how our day started...
Zachary woke up around 3:30 this morning with a 103.3 degree fever and complaining about his throat hurting. So after giving him some medicine and making him a pallet in our room we all went back to sleep. Caiden woke up around 5:00, gave him a bottle and he went back to sleep for an hour and then woke up again ready for the day.
Around 9:00 this morning Ryan comes downstairs and gets me saying, "Dad needs you. MaKinley stuck a Lego up her nose." So I go running upstairs to our bathroom where he said he tried to get it out, but then she sucked it in more or so the thought. After looking with a flashlight and trying to flush I out with a nasal rinse we couldn't find it. So now starts the panic. What do we do? Who is going to watch the other kids, cause Zachary is sick? Who is going to get Ryan to his first flag football game and pictures this afternoon and then to his Cub Scout meeting?
After lining up Grandma to come over so we could to the ER. We went upstairs to get dressed and ready to go. That's when Zachary says he has to throw up and goes to hug our potty. After throwing up he is sitting by the potty on the rug as we are talking. All of a sudden he goes here is a Lego!! It was the green Lego that MaKinley had put in her nose. We guess that when Chris had her blow her nose it came out, but he never saw it or heard it land on the floor cause it hit the rug.
We are so thankful that it came out and we got to avoid a trip to the ER. Now we can go back to about our already busy day and taking care or Zachary. I am hoping he feels better soon answer do not have strep throat. If he still isn't well by tomorrow it will be off to the doctor for him.
So you see while it looks like all we do is have fun around here, life is really happening and it keeps us on our toes for sure!!!
