On Friday, the kids and I headed to EC to go to Deer Camp with my family since Chris was headed to Uvalde with his dad and brother. This was MaKinley's first trip to deer camp and I think she enjoyed it since she stayed awake for a good amount of time both days. The boys of course had a blast riding their four wheeler and playing in the dirt. Ryan went with Papo both Friday and Saturday evening to the deer stand and last the whole time. Guess it is time to start going with Daddy.
Also, at deer camp are some donkey's. They came up to the camp house and let the boys pet and feed them. Ryan also had to name them. He named them Oscar, Blake, Ryan and Christopher. I thought it was funny he wanted to name them.
Other than that we had a good time visiting with everyone and wearing the boys out.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
This year we spent Thanksgiving with Chris' Family. We had such a good time visiting with everyone and being thankful for all of our family and especially having MaKinley with us this year. It was a very low key kind of day. The boys played while the adults visited and watched football.
When everyone left we headed over to our other family the Salge's to visit with them. Then it was time to head home to pack so Chris could go hunting and the kids and I could go to EC to deer camp down there.
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for all of our family and friends.

A&M vs. Sam Houston State
This past weekend Ryan got to attend the Aggie football game with his Great Uncle Andy. He was so excited to be able to go and we were excited because we were finally able to make it up to College Station.
When I was little Uncle Andy used to take my cousins and I with him to the football games and I am so glad that my kids now get that same experience. Going with him to the football games and seeing all the traditions that A&M had to offer is were my love for Texas A&M started and now Ryan, Zach, and MaKinley will hopefully get the same experience and come to love this school as much as Chris and I do.
We had such a great time before the game. We took the kids to the Fan Zone where they got to play on bounce houses and watch the football players and band march in.
I was so proud of Ryan for lasting the whole game with Uncle Andy and can not wait till next football season when hopefully all 5 of us will be able to attend to Fightin' Texas Aggie games.

2 weeks and 5 year check ups
Yesterday we had MaKinley's 2 week checkup and Ryan's 5 year checkup. I divided the appointments into 2 separate visits so I would be able to actually talk to Dr. Owens without being interrupted. We had MaKinley's appointment that morning while the boys were in school . She weighed 10 pounds 0.5 ounces and was 21 1/4 inches long. She has grown a whole inch since birth and has passed her birth weight. Here are some things I wanted to remember:
-she is finally getting on a schedule eating about every 3 hours even at night now.
-wearing size 1 diapers
-has taken a bottle from daddy with pumped milk
-is starting to stay a wake a little more
-loves when her brothers hold her
After the boys got out of school it was Ryan's turn for his 5 year check up. I love our pediatrician so much. We have been going to Dr. Owens since Ryan was born and Chris and Dr. Owen's daughter where finds since grade school. Dr. Owens treats us like family and it makes it so nice. With Ryan's appointment he asked Ryan all the questions instead of me, which I thought was neat since Ryan like to be treated like a big kid. He weighed 42 pounds and is 43.1 inches tall.
I found this questionnaire on Pinterest and thought this would be a cool way to keep up with what he likes each year.

A Spider-Man Good Time
This year we had Ryan's 5th birthday at the Jumpy Place. We invited all his friends from school and some other friends of ours. Ryan has really been in to the Super Hero's lately and wanted a Spider Man party this year. We had his party on Wednesday after school and we pretty much had the place to ourselves which was super nice. He had such a great time and got some really neat gifts from his friends.
