Memorial Weekend

For Memorial weekend this year, the kids went to spend the weekend with Nana and Papo.

This pregnancy has been pretty rough and I was starting to feel better, so Nana and Papo were very nice to take to the kids that way I could regain my bearings on the house and house work.

While the kids were gone Uncle Bryan, Aunt Sarah and baby Grant came to stay with us. It was so nice to get some adult time and not have to live on the kids schedule or take care of kids while trying to visit.

On one of the nights the guys cooked us this wonderful seafood dinner. I was the one who actually had asked for it and when it came time to eat I could barely eat any of it.

Like I said this pregnancy has been rough and one of the side effects has been nausea along with hugging the toilet. But I did get to enjoy it the next day and it was just as good.

On Monday, Chris and I went to pick up the kiddos and hear about their weekend. It was a nice break, but I was so excited to see the kiddos.

Easter (part 3)

Ok, so I did not realize how many pictures I actually had. So here is the last and final post of our Easter weekend.

Sunday morning, the kids woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had left some goodies in their baskets. After going through their baskets and eating breakfast, we started to get thing for lunch prepared so when we got back from church we could eat lunch and then everyone could load up and head home.

It was such a nice weekend and we were so blessed to have so many family members able to join us for this special holiday.

Easter (part 2)

Everyone arrived at our house around 1 o'clock and we ate lunch about 2. After lunch we cleaned up and visited for a while. Then it was time to hunt Easter eggs. I don't know how we always end up with so many eggs, but the kids have a blast hunting them. They all walked away with full over flowing baskets.

After hunting eggs, the kids played outside and the adults visited till it was time for everyone to leave.

After everyone was gone those that were staying at our house all vegged out on the couch to watch Frozen that the kids got from Grandma and Pawpaw in their Easter bag. When Frozen was over, we put the kids to bed and all us adults got a game of Mexican train going. I think we all stayed up till midnight playing the whole game.

It was such a fun time to get to relax and hang out with family.

Easter (part 1)

I am breaking down our Easter into 2 post since I have a ton of pictures.

This year we had Easter at our new house!! We had my whole side of the family plus Uncle Andy and we had Chris' whole side of the family also here. We celebrated Easter on Saturday since everyone would have to be traveling back home on Sunday.

To start off our Easter, Chris took all our kiddo's, Papo, and Uncle Andy to a church near by where they have a helicopter come and drop eggs for an Easter egg hunt!! While they were gone Nana and I had to run to Walgreens, so we drove by and parked close by to watch from a distance. We watch the helicopter drop tons of eggs. When the helicopter was done, we headed back to the house to wait for the boys and MaKinley to get back and to finish getting everything ready for all our guest.

When they returned they said it was super cool and they each got some good candy. This was MaKinley's first time to hunt eggs and Chris said she knew just what to do. He said it was super cute!!
