Sweet Summer Time
This past weekend the kids and I headed down to El Campo, while Chris worked at Schlitterbaun. It has been a while since we have been to El Campo to just go and not have something going on.
We spent all of Saturday at deer camp riding four wheelers and feeding the deer and donkey's. The kids always have a blast when we are at deer camp. This time MaKinley even figured out how to drive the boys power wheels four wheeler.
Sunday, we went to church and then had lunch at Mikeska's Bar-B-Que. After lunch, we all relaxed and took naps at Nana and Papo's house. After naps, we headed to the Elks Lodge for about an hour or so to swim. It was a nice way to cool off and break up our day. When we were done swimming, we head back to Nana and Papo's to eat some sweet watermelon and play outside. Soon it was time to pack up and get on the road back home to see Daddy.
We had such a great weekend and it was so nice to get away for a couple of days.
