Zach is 11 months!

This was a very big month for our little guy. He achived some very big milestones. I can't believe we are on the count down for his 1st birthday. It still feel like we just brought him home. Here is what he has been up to this month: -drinks 60z bottles four times a day -has given up baby food completely which makes meal planning a challange for mommy now -is crawling!! Yep, we are finally crawling I was so proud of him. -Pulling ourself up on everything. Walking won't be far. -is babbling, alot! We still only say, mamma, dada, and bye-bye. -He loves his big brother so much, but as I have said before, I can already see the love hate relationship brewing. -We cut another bottom tooth and top tooth. And the second top tooth is not far behind. That will make a total of 4 teeth. Well, that is all this month. As you can see he has achived some big milestones and hopefully big his big day he will be walking. I will keep you posted.

A trip back in Time

So after Chris got off shift Tuesday morning and was a little stressed, I decided it was time to go back to where we started and get his mind off of everything. So we were College Station bound. By the time we got everything ready, we left about 11 o'clock and arrived around 1:30. Our first stop was at Research Park to feed Zach and let Ryan finish his nap. We love that park so much. When we were dating we would take the dogs there all the time to play and swim. After Zach was finished eating, we headed to Uncle Timmy's apartment to say hi for a bit. After our visit we headed to Cheddar's for lunch. I love this place. After lunch, Chris wanted to take Ryan to see Phi's helicopter. Both of those boys are fascinated with helicopters and airplanes. After visting the helicopter and the guys who fly it we headed to the Sonic were Chris proposed. I know it sounds dorkey, but there is significance behind the whole thing. After getting a drink we headed to the mall to get the boys some new aggie shirts. Then we headed to see Uncle Timmy at work, which the same place Chris and I worked when we were going to school. So it was nice to see that even after 5 or so years nothing has really changed. After our visit we headed back to research park to feed Zach and let Ry run around and stretch his legs. He had a blast with the ducks. There was even a nice young couple who gave him their bread so he could feed the ducks. And then the young lady played hide and seek with him. It was so nice of them. This is why I love that town so much. Everyone is so nice and nobody is a stranger. After the park we went and meet Uncle Timmy at Wings-n-More for some dinner. It was so yummy. Then it was a quick stop back Uncle Timmy's apartment to put the boys in their jammies and hit the road. We had blast and can't wait to go back. If we ever had the opportunity we have always talked about moving back. I guess we will just have to see what God has in store for our family.

A busy busy weekend

So this past weekend, we stayed home all weekend! I know I can't believe it either. We have been going so much that it was time to stay home and taker care of some yard work. We spent all day Saturday mowing the yard and cleaning off the porch. After Chris mowed the back, Ry and I set up his pool so Daddy would have a place to cool off.
On Sunday, we did more yard work. Since the mowing was done, it was time to weed eat everything. This took Chris about all morning. Then that evening Grandma and Pawpaw came over for dinner. It was nice to have them come out and visit. Here are some pics of the boys with daddy in the pool and with Grandma.

EC visit

We went to El Campo this weekend to visit Nana and Papo and all to see a family friend become ordained as a Deacon. We had a nice visit with everyone. Uncle Mike, Aunt Wendy and Tate came by on Saturday evening to visit and see the boys. Ry really like Tate and had fun playing with him. Here are some pic from the weekend.

Visit with the Porter's

On our way to El Campo this past weekend, we stopped by the Porter's house to meet baby Sophie and let Ryan and Abby play. It was so great to see them. Abby and Ryan are so cute together. As you remember Abby is Ry's girlfriend and he asks about her all the time. Sophie is so adorable. I harassed Chris the whole time about wanting another one. We have talked about it many time before and plan to have another baby, but not for a couple of years. It was so nice to get to visit with Mike and Mel. They are such great friends even though we don't see each other as much as we would like too. When we got ready to leave, Abby did not want Ry to go. It was so cute. Can't wait to see them again. Here are some pics from that day
He is going to make such a good daddy one day.

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July!!! We started celebrating July 4th on Friday, by making some red, white and blue cupcakes. Chris was on a 48 and it was just the boys and I, so we decided to do a little baking. Ry loves to help in the kitchen and was super excited to get to make cupcakes. Sorry I don't have a finally pic of what they looked like, but they turned out super cute and I was told they were really good. On Saturday, there was a parade in Startsville and being Chris was on shift they were in the parade with the fire truck and ambulance. So I got the boys up and we headed out to watch the parade. I don't think I have every been to a 4th of July parade, so I was really neat to see. The boys had a blast and Ryan even got to ride with his daddy in the fire truck when they came by. After the parade we went back to fire station with Chris for a while to have lunch. After lunch we came home for naps and to wait for Uncle Travis' arrival. That evening we went for dinner and then picked up some fireworks. Ryan and Uncle Travis had a blast popping them. On Sunday, my parents suprised us by deciding to come up for the day. We hung around the house for the morning and then tried to get the boys to nap before heading over to Chris parent's house to get together with family. We had a blast visiting with everyone. Then that evening we went to our friend Penni Salge's sisters house to watch the fireworks. Ryan thought they were really cool. While Zach just watch very intensly. I hope everyone had a safe and Happy 4th of July. God Bless America and all the men and women who fight for our country every day.
