Burp cloths

When I got pregnant with Zach and was looking for some new burp cloths, I wanted something cute and that absorbed better than the ones you find at wal-mart or Target. So I started looking on line a boutiques and stuff. After realizing how expensive they were, I decided I could make my own. So here is some of the ones I have made for myself and friends babies. I am at a place where I keep questioning whether or not I should start making them and selling them to make some extra money since I stay home with the boys. So I need your opinion on if this is something you would buy? Thanks in advance for your opinion.

So exciting...

we just booked our first official family vacation. We have been on little weekend vacations before, but we are going for a whole week. I am so excited. We are renting a condo in South Padre for a hole week with our friends The Gibbons family. I can't wait. I haven't been to South Parde in forever. I guess I am just excited because I have not been on a vacation in forever. I have put some recent pics of the boys up. They are getting so big. We are going to take our pics this afternoon, so I hope the behave. Here is Ry finally big enough to drive his car. Nana and Papo won this for him when he was 4 months old. Ry helping daddy mow.
Watching Top Gun. I think his face should say how into it he was.
Playing outside.
Zach having his first snacktime.
He is getting so big.
Zach and Grandma Witch I just love this pic.

What a week...

What a week and it is only Tuesday. We found out yesterday, even though we were approved to do the improvements to our home, the loan we applied for had so many specification and because it is construction and not improvements they would not fund the money. So we are on the plan B. Then after spending a day of shopping for Easter and picture clothes we came home to find a bust water line. So after calling our dear friend Jeremy and watching Ry help the big boys. It was so cute. I wish I had a camera. We thought we got it fixed. Then Chris woke up at 4, to get a Zach a bottle, to find we had no water. So this morning we have been with out water, but now it is fix and we can shower and get ready for the day. I am sorry if this sound like I am complaining, but this has been my week so far. So I am guessing it can only go up from here. Time change: The time change has gotten us all messed up. Zach is somewhat back to a decent schedule. We just need to get our feedings regulated and then he will be back on track. Ry on the other hand is having trouble with bedtime, but he went down for a nap at a decent time today. So hopefully this is the start to getting him back on schedule. We did enjoy this past weekend. On Saturday we went to Chris' parents. Ryan and Zach enjoyed playing with their cousins and seeing there grand and great grandparents. Well that is all for now. We are going to take Zach's 6 month pics and Ry's 2 year pics on Thrusday, so hopefully I will have some to post by the end of the week.

A day at the Park

It was such a pretty day yesterday that we went to the park for the morning. Once a week I watch a friends little girl and yesterday just happen to be the day she was here. I was glad I was able to get them out of the house. We also met Ry's best friend Kiefer and his little sister Taryn, aka Zach's girlfriend. They had so much fun. We took a picnic and had lunch in the park. The kids loved it. Zach got to swing in the swings and the park for the first time. He loves the swing at home, but was not so sure about this one, because it was so much bigger.

Zach is 6 months!!!

It is so hard to believe that Zach is already 6 months. We went for his checkup on Monday and he weighted 19lbs 12.5oz and 27" long. He is a very happy boy. He is eating cereal, fruits and veggies morning and night and eating 8 oz. bottles about every 4 hours. This has made sleeping though the night a lot better. We are working on sitting up. He is still a little wobbly, but is getting better. He hate to be on his belly, unless you distract him. But once he realizes he is on it he starts a fussing. His favorite toys are the exersauce and the walker. He loves to bounce up and down in the saucer, it is so cute. He is also fascinated by Ry. He wants to play with him so bad. Anytime Ry talks to him or does something funny Zach just laughs and smiles really big. Here are some pics from over the last month. He loves his baths.

Zach in his new Pop a tot. He loves it.

Ryan's night with Grandma

Ry spent his first night with Grandma this past weekend. He was so excited. He has spent many nights at Nana and Papo's house, but never with Grandma. They did lots of fun things. He played with lincoln log and cars. They even got to go outside and blow bubbles. One of the things Ryan loves to do the most. It was nice to get a night to myself with just Zach. From what Grandma said, he did fine. They watched cars and ate popcorn. She even let him stay up way past bedtime. But hey, I guess that is what Grandma's house is for. Here are some pics I took before I left.

Let the improvements start!!

So we finally started our end of the improvements. Because we are losing our parking spot, we had to make room for a new driveway along side the house so we can pull around to the back and park by our new entrance to the house. Chris and Ry were very busy. I don't have a before picture, but here are some of the work in progress. Thankfully the weather cooperated the last couple days and we were able to get some major work done. I love living in the country. We can just cut and burn and don't have to haul anything off.
