New Year's Eve!!!!
We rang in the New Year at deer camp this year with Nana, Papo, and Uncle Andy!!! This was the first time for us to actually make it out to deer camp this deer season. With 4 kids life keeps us so busy.
The kids were very excited to go to deer camp and get to ride their four wheelers and drive the golf cart. The weather was not the greatest but we made the most of our time.
We got to deer camp on New Year's Eve. That evening while we watched some football games Papo fried up some fish, shrimp and oysters. Ryan had a great time helping Papo bread all the food to be fried and watching how it is cooked.

After dinner we went outside to watch Papo pop some fireworks that he had brought for the kids. The big boys were super excited. MaKinley not so much. She started out watching them from the window in the camp house. This was Caiden's first time with fire works, so he did not really know what was going on. Him and Uncle Andy watched them from the inside of his truck. After a while MaKinley and Nana joined them to continue watching.
When we were all done with popping fireworks, we built a bonfire so we could warm up a bit and make some s'mores!!! The kids loved roasting their marshmallows and then eating their s'mores. After s'mores the kids went inside to play some board games and get ready for bed.
Unfortunately, none of the kiddos made it to midnight to watch the ball drop. But they had such a great evening and were excited to spend the next few days at deer camp.
