Miranda Lambert Concert

I am so thankful to my friend Stacie for inviting me to go to the Miranda concert in Austin. She had a friend back out and had an extra ticket. It was so much fun. I just love Miranda and her music. Was also very grateful to Chris for letting me go and watching the kiddos after a long day of work.

The concert was amazing and I can not wait for the chance to see her again. She is my favorite artist right now!!!

Comal County Fair and Parade

This past week was the Comal Country fair and parade. Wednesday after Chris got off work we head to the fair to meet up with friends and enjoy the festivities. The kids had a great time eating the fair food, riding rides and playing games. Since MaKinley is to little to ride the rides the boys played a game and won her a stuffed animal. The boys really enjoyed the big fun slide and rode it at least 5 or more times.

On Friday, which was Fair day so no school for Ryan, we got up and headed into town to meet with friends again and watch the parade!!! The kids really enjoyed running around with friends and then watching the parade. I love the parade, but it is all ways so long. We stuck around till lunch time and then headed home.

Aggie vs. SMU

This past weekend Chris and I went with some friends to the Aggie football game. It was such a fun weekend. It has been a long time since just Chris and I have gone to back to College Station, were it all started for us. Our friends have an RV spot and tailgate the games, so we tailgated the day away and then went to the game and came back and tailgated some more!! It was a nice relaxing weekend to just be us and be where we love!! The game was good and we won so that made the weekend even better.

Girl's Weekend

This past weekend I had my annual Girl's weekend!!! It was so nice to get together with friends, especially since we don't get to see each other all that often with our busy schedules and not living close to each other!!!

This year we went to Sugar Land and stayed at the Marriott in Town Center. It was so nice to have all the shopping, food, and activities right outside our door. We met Friday evening and went out for dinner and then headed back to the hotel to hang out and continue to catch up. On Saturday some of us went to the spa while some went shopping and then we all met back up for lunch at Japenerio's. It was so yummy and we all at so much that we headed back to the hotel to relax before our evening of fun.

After relaxing and napping a little, cause that is what every mother dreams of when we are with out the kids, we headed out to do a little shopping. It was so nice to be able to shop with out kids. I think I was done in record time. After shopping, we headed out to our evening of fun at Pinot's Palette. I have never painted like this before in my life and I think it took about 2 glasses of wine to relax enough to enjoy it and not be a perfectionist. But it was so much fun and I would love to go do it again sometime!!!

After painting we headed to the Cheesecake Factory for a late night dinner and to gab some more. Then it was off to bed for some good uninterrupted sleep.

Sunday, we all got up and some headed home to their babies and hubbies and some headed to brunch before hitting the road home!!

It was so nice to see my friends, sometimes it is hard to believe we have all been friends for 15 years or longer.

MaKinley 10 month photo shoot

We had Miss MaKinley's photo shoot with Mrs. Sallie the other day. We were suppose to have them done at 9 months, but Mrs. Sallie was out on maternity leave so we did them at 10 months. Again, she did not disappoint and I am so excited about the way the all turned out!!!
