At spring break we had bought ticket to Fiesta Texas, but never made it because the crowd was so ridiculous. So, yesterday we decided to bare the heat and take the boys. I have not been since I was in High School and could not even begin to tell you what it looked like. We had a good time the boys rode some rides and Ryan rode a roller coaster with daddy, even though he was afraid he did it and we were so proud of him. We watched a couple of shows and then left to grab some dinner.
It was such a nice family day, even if it was 100 degrees outside.

A Night at Deer Camp
After the Oil Ranch we headed out to deer camp to spend the night. The boys love going out there and riding the four wheeler and the golf cart. Uncle Andy came out to join us and the boys had a blast riding his mule. As always they are never bored and it was the perfect end to our busy weekend.
The Oil Ranch
Saturday after the wedding Nana, Papo and us headed to The Oil Ranch in Hockley. We had such a great time, but boy was it hot.
They had so many different things to do. We tried to milk a cow, but the boys would not go near it.
They had a place where you could try and rope a baby animal. Papo and Daddy gave that one a try.
You could ride a horse. The boys were scared at first, but after they tried it they wanted to do it again.
You could shot paint ball guns. The boys really enjoyed doing this.
They had a petting zoo, a train ride and hay ride. Some of which we did and then did not get around to doing.
They had a pond where you could bring your own stuff and go fishing. This is where we spent most of our time and where Ryan caught his first fish with Papo.
I have to say we had a good time and would love to go back when it is much cooler.
