I can not believe I am one year from being the big 3-0!!!
This year my birthday did not goes as planned. My grandma had been sick for some time now and in and out of the hospital. Well, Thursday morning she had a episode at the nursing home and was taken to the hospital. After running some test, she had lots of gases in her blood and the doctors did not give her long to live. So instead of going out to dinner and celebrating my birthday we headed to El Campo to see her and be with my family.
I have to say at that point there was no where else I would have rather been.
