On Tuesday, I was able to sit down and do some school work with Zach at home. He has been asking to work on school at home for a while and now that we are semi settled into our house I had time to put somethings together.
We worked on the letter "m." I was very impressed with how much he knew when it came to his number and recognizing them. We also worked on writing the letter "M" and his name. While this area needs some work, I was very proud off him for trying and doing so good.

School at Home
You may remember back a couple years ago when I did school at home with Ryan. Well, now that Ryan is in school and Zach only goes to MDO twice a week it leaves the rest of the week for me to work with Zach at home. He really enjoys it and asks me to do it. I have not been super good with doing it everyday, but try to get some done at least two day of the 3 he is home!!!
Here are some pics from our first day working on the letter A

Zach's First Day of MDO
Zach started MDO again on Wednesday. This year he is in the Older 3's class with Mrs. Melinda. Since we were wanting to hold Zach back in school, because of his late birthday, we were given the option to put him in the older 3's class instead of the Pre-K class and that would keep him from ever having to repeat a class or even grade.
He was so excited to start school again and see his friends, but unlike his brother he is my sensitive one when it come to me leaving him. On the way to school he mentioned several time about not wanting to go and that he would miss me. But once we were there and he was in his class he was fine and did not even cry.

Ryan's MDO Pre-K Graduation/Last Day of MDO
I can not believe how fast this school year went by. I am honestly not quite ready for it to be summer yet. I am especially not ready for Ryan to be going to kindergarten. But ready or not here it comes. The boys had an excellent year this year and we really loved all their teachers.
On the last day, they had a little graduation ceremony. It was super cute. Ryan received the "Snickers" award for having such a great sense of humor. After the graduation ceremony the had cookies and punch in the classroom. I have to say that I was an emotional wreck, but I did not cry. I know Ryan will really miss the friends that he has made. Hopefully, we will be able to stay in touch through the summer and have play dates.

School Time
So the other day the boys asked to do some school at home. We have not done school at home and most of my supplies is in storage. So I scrounged around and found a few things that got put in the attic. They had fun working on it and asked to do it again. So I will have to get some stuff together for them.

First Day of MDO 2012
Yesterday was the boys first day of MDO. They were so excited to start school. Ryan is in Pre-k4 and Zachary is in Pre-K3. The first this year was so different than last year. They walked start into school and went to their classes, never once looking to see if I was coming behind them. They were so excited to see all their friends.
They both had a great day and I got good reports from both of their teachers. I am so looking forward to a good year this year.
Passed out after a long day of school and his 3 year check.
