Finally.....

caught up on my blogging. I just hope it stays caught up since we have such a busy weekend a head of us in El Campo.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

This Thanksgiving we have so much to be thankful for: our health, our wonderful family and all the people who work had to server and protect our communities and country. This Thanksgiving we spent it at the Fire station with Chris and his fellow co-workers and their family. We had such a good time visiting and playing with our Fire Department family. Afte eating lunch and visiting we head to Grandma and Pawpaw's house to visit with our first family. Let's just say by the end of the day both boys were exhausted and passed out on the way home. Here are pics from our day.

Aggie Football

All Chris wanted for his birthday was to go to the A&M vs. Oklahoma game on his actually birthday. The last time the Aggie's played Oklahoma on his birthday the Aggie's has won, but we had also set a new attendace record for Kyle field. It was the first game he took his father too. I was also in attendace with my family. This was right before we met. So it has a lot a signifance to us to attend and make it Ryan's first every Aggie game. We left Friday after dropping Zach off at Grandma's house with Mikayla till Grandma and Pawpaw got home from work. Once we arrived in College Station we went out to dinner with Uncle Timmy to Wings-n-More a place we loved to at when we were going to school there and try to eat at when we go back. After dinner we headed by to the apartment to hit the sack for the next day was going to long and busy. Saturday we woke up and went out for some breakfast. After eating we were on the hunt for Ryan a long sleeve shirt. After running around town with no luck for a shirt, we headed back to the apartment to get ready for the game and head out to do some tailgating. While we were tailgating we came across an old fire truck redone. So of course we had to get pics of it. About 2 hours before kickoff we headed to the fan zone for some Aggie spirt fun, meet up with Uncle Andy and to watch the Band and Corp of Cadets march in. Ry loved the band and playing in the bounce houses. After the corp marched in we head back to the tailgate area to grab our stuff and then head up to our seats. In that time, Ryan was on a downward spiral from a lack of a nap, so right afte kickoff he passed out till about the middle of the 2 quater. Then he was good and enjoyed half time and the rest of the game. Chris must bring some luck, because the Aggie's won and he had a great birthday. On Sunday we went and ate breakfast at Denny's and then packed up to head home. I can not wait till next year when we can take the whole family. This is a tradition we would love to up hold and keep if possible. We love our Aggie family and can not wait till next time.

Happy Birthday Chris!!!

Happy Birthday to the Most Wonderful Husband and father a girl can ask for. I Love you so much!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Bear!

Wow, another year gone! It still feel like we just brought him home and now he is 3. The last year has been such a joyful and trying time for us. I am impressed everyday by the things Ryan says and does. His imagination is so vivid and detailed that I just love listening to him play. He talks so well and carries on such a conversation that I am amazed at what he remembers. He is also loving and caring. He melts my heart everytime he wants to cuddle. Ryans big thing right now is wanting to help. He loves to help cook and even clean. Sometimes he wants to help to much, but we kindly explain to him why he can't do something and sometimes he gets it other times it becomes a melt down. He is such a good big brother to Zach. I hope that they will continue to play as well together as they do now. But, there are the trying times... when we don't get our way it is full melt down or talking back. He is also mister attitude. Sometime it is cute, depending on the situation, but more time out of none it is not. But I can say that he is so full of life and I love learning from him everyday as he grows. I can not wait to see what the next year will bring for us and what he will learn and teach us. I love you so much bear. Happy Birthday. Here are pics from over the last year.

This Halloween we decided to pair up with our cousins and go with a group theme...Wizard of Oz. The kids were so cute. It worked out so perfect and they had a blast getting all dressed up. Ry went as the tin man and Zachy was the lion. We spent the day at Aunt E's house playing with our cousins and visiting with family. Then in the evening we got all ready and headed out for some loot.
