MaKinley's 3 month Photoshoot

At the beginning of the month we got with Miss Sallie again with Country Grace Photography to take MaKinley's 3 month pictures down in Gruene. I love the way they all turned out.

Our 7th Anniversay

 Wow, 7 years!!! Where has the time gone. Sometime it feel just like yesterday we were getting married and now here we are 7 years and 3 kids later.

This year for our anniversary we did several thing. Back at the end of January we went a stayed the night in Houston and met up with some good friends for dinner while my parent watched the kids. We also did a little shopping where Chris kind of spoiled me. Then on our Anniversary Chris' parent watched the kids while we went to our favorite sushi place. Then the weekend following our Anniversary we went to the St. Philip Dinner and Dance. So while we did not do a whole lot on the actual day all those thing added together with it being just us two made for a good celebration of us.

Every year I have a hard time trying to figure out what to get Chris for our Anniversary cause he is the type of guy that when he wants something he just buys it for himself. Well, this year I got him something that he would have never bought for himself. I had gotten an email for a group-on in Houston for a 2 hour flying lesson and I totally knew he would love it. He has such a love for planes and grew up going flying with his grandpa. When I showed it to him, I think I caught him off guard cause he was totally speechless. And the best part about it is that you can bring a guest for free. So it is something we can do together,which makes it that much better.

Practicing T-Ball

Ryan is going to be playing T-ball for the first time this Spring. I am so excited for him. I played T-ball and then grew up going to the ball field to watch my brother play T-ball.

The other day it was a nice day outside to the boys and daddy went outside to practice hitting the ball off a stand that Papo had made for Uncle Travis when he was the boys age. They had fun and Ryan can not wait to find out what team he is on and to start really practices.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

We had a really nice Valentine's day this year. Our day started out good. I cleaned up the house and did the laundry, this has become my Thursday ritual since the first part of the week is crazy. Through out the morning I noticed that Zach was not really acting himself. He had not really touched any of his food from the morning and fell a sleep on the couch around 11 and took about a 2 hour nap. When he woke up I asked him if something hurt and he said his throat  I took one look and called the doctor. I knew it was strep without them even having to tell me. So off we went to the doctor for the sixth week in a row. Yep, sixth. Ryan has had strep twice in a row,  Zach an ear infection and MaKinley a check to make sure she did not have an ear infection. The doctor confirmed that he did have strep, but he also has a double ear infection.

Anyways, back to Valentine's. After our run to the doctor and to pick up medicine we came home to finish our Valentine cake and to make dinner. Once Daddy got home from work we all sat down to eat and open our Valentine's from each other. The kids really liked what they got from us. After playing with their new stuff it was off to bed, so Mommy and Daddy could try to enjoys some time together. But MaKinley had other plans and that reason is for another post.

All in all I am so glad to have some many Valentine's in my life!!
