My little Chef!
Ryan loves to cook! So the other day I saw this recipe for a fall snack mix and decided it would be a perfect project for Ry to help with. It had all his favorite snack stuff in it. He had a blast helping and it was some good bonding time for us.
Here is the little chef doing his thing :)

Zach's first big ouchy!
So I know that most of you don't care, but this one is really for me to remember. On Sunday, before leaving the hotel after Kasie's wedding, Zach was play peek-a-boo with Uncle Travis in the cabinet under the sink. Now I am not sure of the event, but I all I know is that he lost his hand on the middle piece of wood and scraped his face. It only took off the top layer of skin and now you can't even tell, but that day it look worse than anything.
So here is a pic of Zach's first big ouchy. I have to say he was a trooper with it.
Kasie and Kyle's Wedding
This past weekend we traveled up to North Austin for my cousin Kasie's wedding. Ryan and I were both in the wedding, so it was a busy weekend. So I will start with Friday.
Friday morning we got up and started getting things packed up to go. We had wanted to leave the house about 10:00. As you can imagine, one thing after another kept happening. The biggest thing was when I was cutting Chris' hair and had to shut the door for a fews seconds so Zach would not get covered in hair. That was when Ryan decided to play with the squirt bottle Chris had used to iron clothes with. Now Ry had been told not to touch it. When I opened the door he was squirting his tool bench table. So I took it away and of course fussed at him. Then I noticed the TV was not working right. At first I thought it was the Directv box. But after getting on the floor to clean up toys, I noticed that Ryan had squirted our 3 month old LED tv. I was livid. But life had to go on and we were out the door for the wedding praying when we returned it would be ok.
After we were on the road, things seemed to calm down and we had a nice afternoon and evening with rehersal dinner and all.
Saturday: Wedding Day! This day was so much fun. I had to be at the wedding site early to get ready, so Chris, Nana, and Papo were in charge of the boys. And if anyone knows me when it comes to my babies. I had a list made out for everything and made sure I took the important stuff with me. There were no room for mistakes that day. Ryan was such a cute ring bear. I have to say besides the Bride, he pretty much stole the show.
The wedding was so beautiful, even if it deciced to rain for a little bit. Kasie was so beautiful. Ryan had fun and everything was running smooth till I gave Zach some cake. Now I am not sure what was in it or even if it was the cake, but after about four bites in he braffed all over my dress. Lets just say this was an experience all in itself. So thinking he was allegic to something in the cake Chris and Uncle Travis ran to the store for Benadryl while Nana and I took care of getting him and myself cleaned up. After that the dance started and we partied the night away.
Congrats Kasie and Kyle we love you so much and thanks for letting us be a part of your day.

Happy 90th Birthday Granny!
On Friday evening we went to Granny's to celebrate her birthday with everyone. Her actually birthday is October 21st, but we celebrate the weekend before because Kasie was getting married on the 23rd. We had cake and ice cream, and then played some games with Granny's. Papo brought some polka music and Granny loved it.

A day to the Museum
This past weekend the boys and I made a trip to El Campo for Great-Granny's 90th birthday. We left New Braunfels Wednesday evening after the boys napped. We decided to come early because Daddy was going to be working the rest of the week. Besides, it is no fun sitting at home when you could be at Nana and Papo's.
So Thursday, I took the boys to the children's museum. I have been in years and Nana said they had a new play and pretend area from kids. The boys had a blast looking at all the big animals and then playing. Ryan didn't want to leave when it was time to go.
Pumpkin Patch 2010
So after the Zoo, we went back to Auntie E's house to wait for the Girls to get out of school so we could all go to the pumpkin patch. It had been a long day Zach and he was not really in the mood to take pictures or pick out a pumpkin, but I was able to get some descent ones of the the boys together.

The Zoo
So the weather was finally cool and nice enough to get out to the Zoo. This was Zach's first trip to the zoo. I know, first trip...what? But life has been really busy. Along the way we picked up Jacob. The boys had a blast. Zach really enjoyed the animals and so did Ryan. I think the best part was when they got to play in the childrens part. Here are some pics of the boys. I decided not to bore you with pics of the animals. Hope you enjoy.

Last Fling Before...
the Ring! My cousin Kasie and Kyle are getting married soon. They both wanted to have a bachalor and bachalorette party together. It was kind of hard to plan one together, because most of Kyle's groomsmen lived out of state. So after doing something and talking to some friends we came up with a Last Fling before the Ring party. Both Kasie and Kyle liked the idea, so we ran with it.
We planed a dinner at The Oasis on Lake Travis and then from there we would see where the night took us. We got to The Oasis right before sunset, it was so pretty. While we were waiting for a table, we discovered that there was a live band upstairs. So after dinner we headed upstair for some good music and dancing. Dinner turned out really nice and everyone had a blast.
