Date Night

Last Friday, Chris and I went out on a little date. We are trying to get better about taking a night once a month for ourselves, especially since school and soccer will be starting up soon and then a new baby will be here before we know it. 

I have been wanting to do Painting with a twist since I went with my girl friends back in the Fall of last year. Lucky for us, our local Painting with a Twist was having a couples night. So it worked out perfect. Chris was very leery at first about it, but after we got started with the painting he really got into it and had a lot of fun. I had fun, but probably had more fun had a glass or two of wine. 

I very happy with the way our painting turned out. It is hanging up in our room and I love looking at it every night. It reminds me that it took team work to make the painting, just like our marriage takes team work to make it work.
