South Padre Day 5 (going home)

Well our vacation has finally come to an end. We woke up Monday morning had breakfast and started to load the trailer and car for our journey home.

We had saved going to see the sea turtle rescue place for the last day, but upon arriving there we found out that they are closed on Monday's. The kids were very disappointed, so we decided to stop in Port Isabel at the Sea Life Center that had turtles and other sea animals that you could pet and look at. The kids really enjoyed that.

After the Sea Life Center we grabbed some lunch at Pirate's Landing before loading up in the car and making the long 5 and half hour drive home.

After dropping the stuff off at the Gibbon's house we finally arrived back home around 8 o'clock that evening. The kids were so exhausted that if was right to bed for them so they could get up to attend VBS in the morning and then Chris and I unloaded the trailer so I could spend the next few days putting every thing away.

We had such a great time on our trip and created so many memories. I can not wait to go back again next year!!!
