It is so hard to believe that we have survived our first year with a kindergartener in the house. And we now have a 1st grader!!!
He had such a excellent first year of school. He grew and learned so much. He also proved to able to adapt to new situations and surroundings.
When we moved, he had to start at a brand new school and make brand new friends. He had no problem adjusting and jumped right in to his new class.
He went from just writing his name and numbers to making little story books and learning to write new words. His reading has also come a long way. We went from struggling with words to reading multiple sentences on a page.
I am so proud of him and all that he has accomplished this year and can not wait to see what 1st grade will bring for him and us.
