Spring Break Day 1 and 2

While the boys were on Spring Break, Daddy was away in Denton at a Tech School for work. So Mommy was left to come up with a fun planned week to keep everyone entertained and from going stir crazy sitting at home.

Monday, we just hung around the house making sure the boys recovered fully from their fevers they had on Sunday. We played Lego's and did some coloring and other thing on the floor. It was a nice low key day. Just what we needed for the busy week we had ahead.

Tuesday, we met up with Ryan's best friend Judd, him mom and little sister Ainsley for a picnic lunch at Breckenridge park and the Witte museum in San Antonio. The morning started out a little cool, but it warmed up to be a pretty day. The kids had fun playing at the park. Where we found a table was a big old oak tree, they had so much fun climbing the branches. After our lunch we headed to the museum. The boys really enjoyed it a lot. They had this dinosaur exhibit that was really neat. They had iPad at different spot that would bring certain thing to life on it. There was one Dino that Ryan was so scared of, but Zach sat there waving and talking to it.

After looking at the Dino's we explored the rest of the museum. We checked out the log cabins and the science tree house. It was some more exhibits, but the kids were starting to get tired and we were wanting to get out before it got super busy.

On our way home, we stopped by to see Grandma Witch and Grandpa Billy. I am not sure who was more excited to see who, the boys or them. After visiting for a while it was time to head home and get off to bed and get some good sleep for the rest week.
