Yesterday morning I took the boys down to Gruene for an Easter Egg hunt. Since Chris was working Grandma was nice enough to join us. The boys had fun hunting eggs. Ryan knew what to do, but Zach was not sure since this was only his second time to hunt eggs. They had lots of eggs and not to many kids, so the boys did really well. After we hunted eggs, we went inside the cupcake place and enjoyed a cupcake.
After eating our cupcakes, we ran a few errands and had lunch at Grandma and Pawpaw's. Then we headed home to take naps, so we could be rested for our play date with the Gibbon's.
When the boys woke up we headed to the Gibbons' house to make Easter bunnies out of the pine cones we had picked up at our lunch stop the other day. The kids had fun painting on the glue and then sprinkling on the glitter. Ryan did a great job with his and of course Zach sat for like 2 seconds and then was done. So I ended up making his.
After making the Easter bunnies, the kids played outside while we got dinner ready. After dinner we made s'mores over a fire. The kids really enjoyed it.
After eating s'mores it was time to head home for bath and bed. We really had a busy and enjoyable day.
