This was the first year we have ever been and did not know what to expect. The fishing was from noon to 3:00 pm and awards started at 3:45. The had released over 2,500 fish that morning or so and so many of them had tags. If you caught one with a tag or one that was the longest you won a prize.
We fished for about 2 hours and only caught one fish, which was caught by Ryan and daddy. The boys had more fun playing in the river than they did fishing.
MaKinley had an ok time. She was not very happy that she could not walk around by herself. I did let her put her feet in the water and then she wanted to push the limit and go a little farther in. She was not happy when I picked her up and would not let her get in any farther.
I have to say though all in all we had a really fun time and can't wait to plan another day fishing trip to the river.
