A Weekend with Friends

Last year, us girls did a girls weekend getaway, but since 2 had babies this year we decided to do a family get together. Jenni's parents the Labay's were gracious enough to let us borrow their bay house for the weekend.

We all arrived down there on Friday evening and spent the evening catching up and letting the kids play.

On Saturday, we all got up and ready for the day. The kids were all excited to go fishing and set crab traps. The day was spent just relaxing and enjoying being together. The kids all had a good time. Abby and Zachary even caught their first fishes. They were so excited. That night after the kids went to bed the guys went night fishing and us girls hung out inside gabbing.

On Sunday, we all got up and ate breakfast and then started cleaning up, so we could all head back to our homes.

I have to say that it is nice to still be close friends after all these years and living far apart from each other. It seems not matter how long we may go without talking, when we get together it is like no time has passed at all.
