Yesterday, Chris, the boys and I attended the send off of our good friend Byran back to Afghanistan. It was a very special experience that I will never forget.
We have known Byran since college, when he spent the summer living our couch. Since then he has become like a brother to Chris and I. And an uncle to our boys. We love him so much and will miss him greatly.
This is his second tour to Afghanistan. Thankfully, this time he will not be on the front line, but will be working as a flight medic. I felt very honored to be there that day for him. God bless him and all our Troops. My God protect them and send them back to us safe and sound.
