Memorial Weekend

Our weekend started out slow with not much planned. Chris had to work a 24 on Saturday and then he worked the river on Sunday during the day. So we had not planned much with him working.

On Saturday,  the boys and I had to pick up Uncle Travis and Brittany for the airport. They had spent the week in Cancun. The boys really enjoyed going to the airport as always. But Ryan was very excited to pick them up because we got to go inside the airport, which he has never done. After we picked them up we headed to Chris' parents house to pick up Uncle Travis' car and to visit for a little bit. We then made plans to come back to their house on Sunday for a family get together. After playing for a while we then headed home to make dinner and prepare for Sunday.

Sunday, Daddy came home for a little while before going back to work. While he was home, Ryan and him made some brownies and Mommy made the pasta salad to take to Grandma and Pawpaw's. Soon it was time to get ready to head out to go have some family fun.

The boys had a blast playing with their cousins and it was a nice relaxing afternoon hanging out and just visiting. We took our beach ball sprinkler and Aunt E brought popsicles. After playing in the water all the kids got cleaned up and they all loaded up in my car for a sleepover.

Here are some pics for Saturday

On Monday, Uncle Chris made pancakes for breakfast and we had breakfast outside. The kids really enjoyed it and played outside most of the morning. While we were outside, Chris and I were able to get some yard work done and we even blew up the swimming pool for the kids to play in that afternoon. After nap time the kids played in the pool and then took a break in house for movie time, since it was so hot outside. Around 4 or so Uncle J and Aunt E came over for some fajitas and to pick up the kids.

I have to say for starting out slow and not much planned we had an awesome weekend with family.
