For Mother's Day, we headed to El Campo to spend it with my Mom. We had plan to go to El Campo, for Easter and celebrate my Mom's birthday with her then which was the week before. But with Chris schedule being so busy, we ended up not making it down there. So we made it a point to go for Mother's day.
Saturday morning we all go up and Papo made omelets on the patio. It was a nice morning and the boys enjoyed playing in the flower bed with their new tractor from Papo and Nana. After breakfast was all cleaned up, I took my Mom for her very first pedicure for Mother's day. I have tried to get her to go before and she always passed. This time she could not object. We had a nice time just the two of us.
After pedicures we ran a few errands and headed home to eat lunch and make sure the boys took naps.
That afternoon we attended Keaton's first birthday. The boys had a blast play on the slip-n-slide and other water toys. It was great to see all our friends and their kids.
After the party we headed back to Nana and Papo's to enjoy some crawfish. It was a very nice relaxing Saturday and I think a very good Mother's day weekend.
