This past Saturday we had a family Saturday. It started with breakfast at Naegelin's bakery and then we head to the tube chute to watch the cardboard boat races. We have never had the chance to go before, because we usually have morning soccer games. The kids really enjoyed it and there were some really super awesome boats. After the boat races we met up with Grandma and Pawpaw at Willie's for some lunch to celebrate Pawpaw's birthday. It was such a beautiful day out and the kids had fun playing in the sandboxes.
When we were done eating lunch we headed home for naps and for Chris and I to get ready to go out the the Crawfish Festival. I was super excite to go eat mudbugs and listen to Wade Bowen and Pat Green. We met up with some good friends and had a wonderful evening.
It was such and awesome day and just what we needed as a family.
