This past Saturday, the hospital down the road from the house was hosting a Winter Festival. Since we had yet to see Santa or do any kind of Christmas activities we decided to give it a shot. There were lots of people there, but the kids had a blast playing in the fake snow (crushed up ice), making cookies, bouncing in the bounce house, and getting to tell Santa what they want for Christmas.
Santa was a success this year!!! I was very afraid of how MaKinley would act. She was a little skittish when we tried to put her on his lap, but once we decided to just let her stand by him she did just fine.
I am so glad that the weather was nice enough to allows us to get out of the house and the kids got to see Santa.
