Christmas Eve

This year the boys again participated  in the Christmas Eve pageant at Church. Zach was really hesitant about it, but we told him that once he commits to something that he has to see it through.

A week or so before the pageant, we received a call from the church asking if Caiden would be baby Jesus. It was a true honor.

The pageant was to be preformed during the Gospel, reenacting it. Ryan was an angel and Zachary was a sheep. And of course Caiden was baby Jesus.

Mass was a little stressful for me as, that when it was time for the gospel Caiden decided it was time to eat. He cried most of the time, until I was able to get him to take a paci to hold over till the gospel was over.

Ryan did good as an angel. Zachary did good as a sheep, though he refused to crawl like a sheep, so he just walked and rang his bell.

I am so gratefully that Chris' parents and brother were able to attend with us. They were such a big help with MaKinley who was not quite old enough yet to participate.

After church, we all headed over to Mamacita's for dinner.

When dinner was over, we headed home to open our traditional Christmas Eve presents from Mommy and Daddy. Then it was off to bed, so Santa could come!!!
