This past weekend we celebrated MaKinley"s 1st Birthday!!! Since she is our little ladybug we just had to go with it. I loved buy and decorating the house all girly for her.
Though no party ever goes off with a little hitch. Nana and Papo were bring the cakes up that Ms. Ruby made, well on the way up they had a little accident. So instead of watching Ryan's soccer game, we switched the cakes over to our car and headed to Hobby Lobby to get what we need to fix it up. I have to say that I think we did a great job repairing it and it will be a story to tell in the future.
Her party was great. It was so funny to watch her with her cake. She was being very ladylike about it. At one point Nana smashed her hand in it and she was not sure what to think about that. She got some really nice toys that her brothers dominated of course. We are so blessed to have the special family and friend come and help us not only celebrate MaKinley, but also help us celebrate making it the first year as a family of 5!!!
