A trip to EC

This past weekend the kids and I headed down to EC for the weekend. I was surprised when I realize we had not been there all summer. Chris was going to the deer lease with his daddy to do some work and fill feeders so he was not able to join us.

We left Thursday around lunch time and got to El Campo around 4:00 pm.  That evening we went to eat at Pincher's. The boys request this place every time we come to visit. After dinner we went back to Nana and Papo's house for the rest of the evening to unpack and get settled.

On Friday, Nana had the day off. So after lunch we loaded the kids up and headed to Sugar Land to the Natural Museum of Science. The kids had a blast looking at all the neat stuff. I really think their favorite part was digging for dino bones.

Saturday, while Nana and Papo went to a Memorial service, the kids and I picked up Aunt Sharon and went to visit Maysa. They had so much fun playing with her and her puppy Reba. Around lunch time we headed back to EC to play and hang out with Nana and Papo.

On Sunday Papo got up and went to get Praske's before church. MaKinley got to eat her first poppy seed kolache. I think she really enjoyed it. Then it was off to church only to come back eat lunch and pack up to head home.

We had a great weekend even though it went by super fast and are not sure when we will get back since school will be starting soon and so will soccer!!
