Meet the Teacher/1st Day of 1st grade

Friday, we had meet the teacher for Ryan. It is so hard to believe that summer is over and school is here. Ryan was so excited to meet his teacher and find out which friends were in his class. His teach this year is Mrs. Pate. Ryan had her as a substitute teacher last year and knew who she was. He said she is very nice and he was excited to be in her class.

Fast forward through the weekend to Tuesday and the 1st day of school is here!!! Everyone did great getting up and ready to take Ryan to school. As we were walking in, his teacher was leading his class out of the cafeteria to their classroom. Ryan fell right in line and started talking to a friend. He had no fears at all. I am pretty sure he would have not even cared if we had just dropped him off. Of course, I am that mom and that would not have flown being the first day of school. 

He went right to putting his stuff away and to his seat to start coloring. I had to pretty much beg him to take a few pics. I am so glad that he loves school and is so eager to learn. I can not wait to see how much he grows and learns this school year!!!
