This past Sunday we headed to the beach for the day with the kids. Our summer has been super busy even though we did not have a lot planned when it started. We had planned to leave on Saturday and camp on the beach, but we had been keeping my sister-in-laws lab and he ended up getting sick and we had to take him to the vet. So since we had everything already loaded we decided to get up early the next morning and head to Port A for the day.
The boys were super excited to go and had such a great time. I have to say that even though it was just for the day we had a great time and was so glad after being there that we did not camp out. We flew kites, made sandcastles, played in the water and cooked hot dogs before heading home. MaKinley really had fun too, playing in the water and even getting some sand between her toes.
The kids are getting so big! Can't wait to see y'all at Christmas!
