This year is Zachary's first year to go on a school field trip, except their field trip came to them. They had a traveling theater group come to the school and put on the play Jack and the beanstalk. It was a very cute play and the kids really loved it. Zachary loves school and his friends so much that he wanted to sit with his friends instead of sit with me. It is so nice to see him growing and spreading his wings, but yet make me sad to know that he doesn't need me as much anymore.
After the play we headed back to their classrooms to have lunch. When Ryan went on his first field trip we went home with me when it was over. So after lunch I gave Zachary the option to stay at school or come home with me, he chose to come home. It was a great day and I had fun spending some time with just Zachary.
