We spent New Year's Day and the day after hanging out at deer camp. The weather was less than ideal. It as cold and raining off and on, but the kids still had a great time and we made the best of it.
We spent lots time just playing and hanging out. The kids did venture out on the four wheelers for a bit. Ryan had a pinewood derby race coming up in the next few weeks, so it was the perfect opportunity for him and his daddy to work on his car.
On Saturday evening, Chris shot a hog and the kids got to watch him clean it. This was MaKinley's first time to watch a dead animal be cleaned and she was very fascinated by the whole thing.
We had a nice relaxing weekend and it was the perfect way to start our New Year!!!
