Spring Break

Well our spring break did not start out well at all. The first weekend all the kids except Caiden were sick and on antibiotics. Thankfully by Monday we were all on the mend. I did have some things in mind to do, but the weather forecast was calling for rain almost everyday which left plan always up in the air.

Monday through Wednesday we swapped off back and forth playing with the Scudday's. One day they were all here and then the next they all went over to their house.

Thursday we hung out around the house and then went to dinner at Willie's roadhouse. The kids had a great time playing outside.

Friday was a rainy day. We started the day playing at the Jumpy Place. It had been awhile since we had been there and the kids had a blast and worked off some energy. Then we came home and while MaKinley and Caiden napped, the boys and I made flubber and fake snow. They had a great time playing with both. Then for dinner that night since it was Lent, Daddy brought home some crab legs and shrimp.

While our spring break was not super busy this year, I think it all turned out ok. And we were all able to rest and get better before school started back up.
