Christmas Eve

We had such a wonderful Christmas Eve. Nana and Papo came up to spend it with us and see our new house. We spent the day hanging out and of course putting things away. Nana and Ryan put the Gingerbread house together. Can you believe this was Nana's first time to put together Gingerbread house!

Then Papo and Ryan try building some kind of model remote control thing. But they did not get very far, as it had lots of pieces and was time consuming. But they had fun trying to figure it all out.

Then it was off to Christmas Eve mass. We got there in time for mass, but ended up having to stand as it was very full. The kids behaved very well and were enjoyed watching the children's reenactment of the Gospel.

After Church, we came home to eat dinner and open present from Mommy and Daddy. Every year, we give the kids their Christmas pi's to wear that night. They also had another special present to open for Nana, Papo, Grandma and Pawpaw. They all went in and got us the Wii U. The boys were really excited and could not wait to play it.

After opening presents, we all changed into our new pi's and loaded up to head to Wincrest, a little suburb of San Antonio, to see Christmas lights. Every year the have a light contest, so there are always a lot of lights to see.

We had such a great day and kids were so excited to see what Santa brought that they were hard to put to sleep, even with all the activity from the day.
