A Holiday weekend in EC

This weekend was a very busy fun filled Christmas weekend. Just what we needed to kick off the Holidays. We arrived in El Campo on Thrusday to attend the annual Christmas Parade with Nana and Papo. Every year we pick up some fried chicken and eat at Nana shop since she has a prime spot to watch the parade. This year we were very lucky to be joined by our good friends the Porter's and their Mamaw. The kids had a blast playing together and watching the parade.

On Saturday morning we woke up and went to have breakfast with Santa in Taiton. This was our first year to go. We had planned to go last year, but it was cancelled due to snow. But I am not complaining one bit.
The boys had a great time. First we ate breakfast and then we went to sit on Santa's lap.I was a little nervous about Zach with Santa, but he was super good. After our visit with Santa and Ryan telling him what he wanted we went to play games. The boys really enjoyed themselves that we had to go home for nap time.
While the boys were napping Nana and I ran to the Christmas mall for a little while and got two gingerbread boys for the yard with the boys name on it. They are super cute.
Later that afternoon we took Ryan to the bowling center for his first time bowling. It was so much fun and he had a reall good time. And I hate to admit it, but Ryan actually beat me.
On Sunday we woke up and went to Praske's for kolaches and then headed to Church. After Church we went to eat at Los Cucos. Chris can not come to EC without eating there. Soon it was time to pack up and head to Katy to the Porter's for the Christmas Cookie Exchange party. It was so much fun and we came home with so many great cookies.
Sorry for the long post, but as you can tell we did many fun things that could not be left out. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
