Comal County Fair and Parade
So I have lived in Comal County for 5 years now and this is the first time I have ever attended the fair parade, as well as, the boys first time. It was quite an experience getting there. First of all, it was a last minute decision to go. The parade started at 10:00 in the morning and we decided at 7:30 to go. Trying to get breakfast, get dressed and out the door in half an hour is quite the task. Why did we have to leave so early? To get a parking spot and a good spot to sit, of course! The Wence's joined us and the kids had a blast watching to parade. There were lots of tractors, the school bands, and floats.
Also in the parade were the new Fair Queen, Princess and Duchess. Our good friend Mikayla was crowned Duchess.
The next day, we packed up and head to the Fair. Chris had to work, so Pawpaw graciously came with us. Ryan's buddy Kiefer also came with us. They has a little kiddy area where they played games and won prizes. The boys loved it.

After doing all the kiddy games we went to check out all animals and the petting area
Then it was off for some good ole' fair food and the carnival. Ryan had a blast riding all the rides. He has gotten so big and this was the first time he actually ride the rides with out help.
